What is playing club with Magnum worth?
Did you know that the last few Magnum graduating senior classes have received athletic scholarships averaging nearly 1 Million Dollars a year.

Scholarships awarded over the last 3 years to Magnum players:
2012 Class- $813, 786
2013 Class- $1,016, 888
2014 Class- $951,772

Total: $2.78 Million in athletic scholarships over the last 3 years
(this is just athletic scholarships and does NOT include academic scholarships and supplements) 
Magnum Athletes are ready to play in college
All 9 of our 2014 Seniors were recruited to play in college this fall.   
They were rewarded for their hard work with athletic scholarships.

Magnum teams win at the 
2013 Palmetto Region Championships
Magnum was once again able  to have a team in the Open Gold Division
in every age group 14u-18u at PVA Regionals in 2013.
Most astonishing is that this was the 4th year in a row that this happened.  Congratulations to the Magnum Nation!!  Way to represent our club.

  • National and State Recognition for Magnum players Congratulations to Anna Tovo!!! Anna was one of 100 players in the Nation to be an AVCA Under Armour All American in 2013.   Magnum also had 6 HS "Player of the Year" Recipients in the fall of 2013!! Anna Tovo- Player of the Year AAAA Region 5 Bijonae Jones- Player of the Year AAAA Region 4 Becca Barton- Player of the Year AAA Region 4 Caitlyn Sheppard- Player of the Year AAA Region 5 Deza Parker- Player of the Year AA Region 5 Savanna Haynes- Player of the Year AAA SCISA Congratulations to all of these girls for doing well this fall on their high school teams.

  • Magnum joins the SAVL for the 2014 Magnum has joined with Axis Elite, Carolina Islanders, Grand Strand Juniors, MVP, Upward Stars, Upward Stars Rock Hill, and Vision from the Palmetto Region along with some other clubs from the Southeast (USPVA, Georgia Jrs., XVP, Sports Academy, and others) to form the SAVL.  The SAVL is a power league that will be run through the JVA and will allow our teams to get quality competition without a lot of travel this season.  We are excited about adding this new league to our already competitive tournament schedule.

  • Tasha Dicks breaks the national record in Triple Jump Farthest jumping girl in the Nation:Congratulations to Tasha Dicks as holding the record for the longest triple jump for girls in the NATION for 2013.  Tasha not only plays volleyball and hits the ball really hard (see above) but she also runs track.  This past weekend she won the Taco Bell Classic and broke the National Record by a FOOT.  Tasha will attend USC to run track next year.  Click here to read: Taco Bell Classic

  • 16 Mizuno Wins MAPL Event #2 The 16 Mizuno team wins the Mid Atlantic Power League Raleigh event.  Out of 48 teams in their division they were the BEST.

  • Mizuno Teams head to the Beast of the Southeast Magnum's Top teams head to Atlanta this weekend for the Beast of the Southeast hosted by A5.  The Beast is an invitational tournament where 12 of the top team in the Southeast in each age group compete to see who is the best.  Over 100 college coaches attend.  Invitations are automatically given to teams who attended Nationals the year before or who won their region.  Teams come from Florida, Tenn, Louisiana, and even Canada.  For more details click here: Beast  You can keep up with the results of the tournament on AES.

Magnum Alumni Playing in College

2012

Interesting fact:
In June of 2013, the Magnum 18 Mizuno team finished 18th in the 18 OPEN division of the AAU National Championships.   Out of the 17 teams who finished higher than them only 2 other clubs were from cities East of Michigan (OVA and USANY).
